Andrea has been performing and writing songs for over 20 years. She has performed in duos and trios, but has concentrated her energies recently with solo performing. Her inspiration comes from a wide range of sources from the beauty of her adopted North Carolina to trials and challenges of life’s journey, both her own and the people who have touched her life. From the fateful Christmas morning she received her first guitar (which later fell victim to the hazards of a very messy room) she knew that music was the basic element to life, the reason her heart beat and her lungs filled with air. Over the years, her writing has evolved into moody commentary about life’s small but significant tribulations.
